How long is total trip last
Depending on the weather and water condition in the river it should last about 6 hours (about four hours by rafting, one hour up river boat plus one hour surface transfers).
What will I see on the way?
This excursion covers one of the least visited sites in Asia thus you enjoy of the Namlang and Malikha river beauty through forested hills, high reef with lush tropical evergreen forests and rock gardens.
How fit do I have to be?
This is graded as "Easy" thus anyone who is reasonably fit will be able to join in. Older clients or clients with pre-existing medical conditions may require a doctor’s letter confirming their fitness for the kind of trip.
How long is an average rafting in a day?
Depending on the water flow condition in the river it should be between 3 to 4 hours.
Is the rafting suitable for beginners?
Malikha river trip is graded at 2 plus thus suitable for clients (age above 12) with no previous rafting experience. All clients will receive basic instruction at the beginning of the journey, and each raft will be guided by an experienced local or expatriate commercial river guide. During your expedition you are under the direction of your trip leader and he has total authority to determine your suitability to participate.
What happens if I fall in?
Clients do occasionally fall in to the water, but will have been thoroughly briefed on what to do in such an event. All clients will wear approved life jackets and protective head gear in case they fall into the water.
What about meal?
A set of pack lunch will be served at white beach. Clients with special dietary requirements will need to advise us at the time of booking.
What about guides?
We provide English language local guide and a raft guide either local or expatriate, who will be able to explain you about the sites and sounds of the areas that you visit.
