How to Book: Since these expeditions require a permit to travel, booking is require minimum 45 days prior to commencement of the tour. Reservation to be made to Putao Trekking House's Yangon office. Complete the booking form and fax it to + 95 1 664451 or email attach file to "sales@putaotrekkinghouse.com". "Client Profile Form" needs to be completed at the time of booking. Hard copy of "Client Profile Form" and "Insurance Policy" to be provided to us prior to client's departure to Putao.

Validity: Prices quoted are net basis and valid according to the date specified on the printed tariffs, quotation, invoice etc. Putao Trekking House warrants that the prices or rates quoted are correct at the time of issuance but are subject to change in line with market, tax or currency fluctuation.

Deposit: A deposit of 30% of trip cost per person is required minimum (31) days prior to commence of the tour. The balance will need to be settled (21) days before the commencement of the tour. Booking made within (31)days of the commencement date must accompany with deposit.

Confirmation: Confirmation of your booking will be provided in writing and advice due date of final payment. Reservation Putao Trekking House reserves the right to request 30% deposit to in order to guarantee booking on very high guarantee: occupancy period. (only booking with paid deposit shall treat as confirm booking).

Grouping: Trekking House's programs are based on minimum (4) and maximum (8) to (12) participants. Putao Trekking House reserves the right to combine to form a decent group on same departure. Should there be no participant to join to form a group of minimum (4) then "Small Group Supplement" be liable in order to operate with existing number of clients.

Private Departure: Private departure will be considered and quoted case by case basis only upon request. Please note "Small Group Supplement" doest not imply private departure but only to operate with existing number of clients on regular departure.

Amendments: We will try to accommodate your request within possible limit. A fee may liable if involve reapplication with a permit.

Cancellations: All cancellations must be advised in writing and are accepted from the date the written confirmation is received and applied to refund guidelines below. If the operator cancels your tour due to unforeseen circumstance, full refund will be made, however we are not be liable for any additional costs incurred you.

30 to 21 days 10% of the total quoted figure per person
20 days and less No refund (except for the schedule flight cancellation)
 
Flights: Due to weather in mountainous regions, irregularities of domestic flight schedule may affect your onward journeys. We cannot be responsible for any charges you might incur as a result of these cancellations once you are in Putao. Should the schedule flight cancel on the planned date then we will try to book next available flight. If this is not acceptable to clients then a refund will be considered after deduction of 10% of the total cost per person to cover permit and other logistic cost.

Un-used Service: No refunds will not be considered any unused service after commencement of the tour.

Insurance: It will be compulsory for all clients to take out their own personal travel insurance, which must cover adventure activities and include emergency evacuation as a pre condition of booking. Full contact details of the insurance policy will need to be carried with the expedition. In addition, we will also ask clients to sign a waiver form on certain trek, which will recognize the client’s voluntary participation in an adventure activity, which carries a certain amount of inherent risk.

Responsibility: Journeys / Putao Trekking House assume no liability for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the person including those occurring outside the programs. Journeys / Putao trekking House will also accept no responsibilities for losses or additional expenses due to accident, delay, sickness, weather, strike, unusual delay in permit or other cause beyond its control. Participation in the tour implies the person's agreement to the above conditions. Journeys / Putao Trekking House also reserve the right to modify or reverse the original program in the interest of the clients, however will make fullest possible endeavor to keep up with the original program and arrangements as agreed upon to the best of its capacity and upon the satisfaction of the clients.

Claims: All disputes, claims and litigation regarding the services shall first be settled by way of negotiation and mutual understanding. In the event such effort would fail, the disputes, claim or litigation shall be finally settled by arbitration of the Union of Myanmar. All claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days after the end of the services.
