Tue - Day 01 Arrival,
Putao

Upon arrival at Putao airport meet and greet by Putao trekking house's representative and transfer to your hotel. Putao, lies in a flat valley, jumping-off point for trekkers who want to explore the region’s deep forests, wildlife sanctuaries and snow-capped mountains etc. After a brief fresh up and light lunch walk through plain of paddy fields to Majaw Lisu village. Explore this unique village, interaction with local and walk along Majaw creek leaving beautiful sites behind having backdrop of Mt. Madoi Razi blazing with snow over the horizon. Return to Putao, dinner and overnight at Putao Trekking House. (total walking hour - approx 2)

Wed - Day 02 Machanbaw, Namkham and
Kamunglon excursion (easy)

Breakfast and we depart by jeep through the vast Putao plain on pebbled road to Naungkhine (20 km, approx one hour), we get off the jeep, cross suspension bridge span across Malikha river to Machanbaw, a small administrative town ex-Putao with beautifully set up colonial style town. Here we walk up to the so-called stone dragon park which should take about 30 minutes to visit a park where there is a so-called "stone dragon" the snake-like rock formation. Later we board on a local fishermen boat for our up river journey to along Malikha river (approx 40 minutes) to Namkham, a la

rge Rawan village, situates at the bottom of Namhti mountain range which in rich with biodiversity of flora and fauna. Name after Hkamti Shan name meaning “Golden River” has became the centre of cultivation place for the fruits that Father Robert Moss has introduced thus to day famous for its sweet fruits production. We have Follow by a lunch stop we explore the village, social and cultural interaction with its friendly people and continue travel by boat up river to (about 20 minutes) to the site of famous Kanugmulon Pagoda, said to be one of the 84000 pagodas built by Thiri Dhamma Thawka, the great king. Here we cross the river to Htawadum where we meet our jeep and transfer back to Putao (14 km, approx one hour). Dinner and overnight at Putao Trekking House.
Thu - Day 03 Excursion Zion village and beyond (moderate)

Breakfast and we depart by jeep to Mulashidi Lisu village (13 km, approx 20 minutes) through well paved road across part of the Putao plain. Mulashidi, meaning in Lisu “the village stands in the thatch field along Mula river” has been over 50 year since it built by the missionary. Walk around this unique village and enjoy scenery from Mulashidi suspension bridge which spends across Mula river. Here we leave our jeep and start trek along Mula creek (1.5 km, approx 2 hour) Zion, a large Rawan village beautifully set up by Mula river. Lunch stop and perhaps social inter-act with local villagers. Later we visit suspension bridge and enjoy views of the Putao plain having backdrop of snow- capped mountain far in the horizon. Afternoon return back to Putao and check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight at Putao Trekking House. (total walking hour - approx - 3 - 5).

Fri - Day 04 Departure
Breakfast and perhaps a last
minute shopping at Putao
market. Later we transfer to
airport for our onward
departure flight to conclude
this unique experience.
