How to Book:
Since this expedition
requires a permit to travel,
booking is require minimum 6
weeks prior to client's
arrival. Reservation to be
made to Putao Trekking House
Yangon office. Complete the
booking form and click
"submit" button to make
your reservation. The Client
Profile Form needs to be
completed and fax it to us
at + 95 1 664451 or attach
with email to us at sales@putaotrekkinghouse.com.
You will need to bring a
hard copy of "Client Profile
Form" and "Insurance Policy"
to Myanmar. A company
representative will collect
these forms at the pre
departure meeting in Putao.
Validity:
Prices quoted are net basis
and valid according to the
date specified on the
printed tariffs, quotation,
invoice etc. Putao Trekking
House warrants that the
prices or rates quoted are
correct at the time of
issuance but are subject to
change in line with market,
tax or currency fluctuation.
Commitment Fee:
A commitment fee of 10% of
your trip cost per person is
required upon booking.
Deposit: A deposit of
20% of your trip cost per
person is required minimum
45 days prior to departure
date. The balance will need
to be paid at least 7 days
before the departure date.
Bookings made within 45 days
of the departure date must
be paid commitment fee plus
deposit.
Amendments: We will try
to accommodate your request
with in possible limit. A
fee may liable if involve
re-application with a
permit.
Cancellations: All
cancellations must be
advised in writing and are
accepted from the date the
written confirmation is
received and applied to
refund guidelines below. If
the operator cancels your
tour due to unforeseen
circumstance, full refund
will be made, however we are
not be liable for any
additional costs incurred
you.

Flights: Bad weather
in mountainous regions can
cause flight delays. Please
make allowances when booking
onward journeys. We cannot
be responsible for any
charges you might incur as a
result of these delays.
Unused Service: No
refund will not be
considered any unused
service after commencement
of the tour.
Insurance: It will be
compulsory for all clients
to have taken out prior
medical insurance including
emergency air evacuation if
required. Clients will be
requested to take out their
own personal travel
insurance, which must cover
adventure activities and
include emergency evacuation
as a pre condition of
booking. Full contact
details of the insurance
policy will need to be
carried with the expedition.
In addition, we will also
ask clients to sign a waiver
form, which will recognize
the client’s voluntary
participation in an
adventure activity, which
carries a certain amount of
inherent risk.
Responsibility: Putao
Trekking House assumes no
liability for any loss,
injury or damage sustained
by the person including
those occurring outside the
touring programs. Therefore
will accept no
responsibilities for losses
or additional expenses due
to accident, delay, sickness
weather, strike or other
cause beyond its control.
Participation in the tour
implies the person's
agreement to the above
conditions. Putao Trekking
House also reserves the
right to modify or reverse
the original program in the
interest of the clients.
Putao Trekking House will
make fullest possible
endeavor to keep up with the
original program and
arrangements as agreed upon
to the best of its capacity
and upon the satisfaction of
the client.
Claims: All disputes,
claims and litigation
regarding the services shall
first be settled by way of
negotiation and mutual
understanding. In the event
such effort would fail, the
disputes, claim or
litigation shall be finally
settled by arbitration of
the Union of Myanmar. All
claims must be submitted in
writing within 30 days after
the end of the services.
