How to book:
Complete the booking form click "submit" button to make your reservation. The "Client Profile Form" needs to be completed and either fax to us at + 95 1 664451 or attach with email to us at "sales@putaotrekkinghouse.com" at the time of booking. Insurance is a must and you will need to bring a hard copy of "Insurance policy". A company representative will collect your insurance policy at the pre-departure meeting in Yangon. Please note your service will be denied unless you have a proof of personal insurance prior to travel to Putao.
Deposit and payment:
A deposit of 30% of your trip cost per person is require to secure your booking. The balance will need to be settled at least 21 days before commence of tour, trek or expeditions. Bookings made within 21 days of the commencement date must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Upon receipt of deposit we will provide confirmation and inform you of when and how to pay the balance due.
Cancellations:
All cancellations must be
advised in writing and are
accepted from the date the
written confirmation is
received and applied to
refund guidelines below.

NB: Depending on your
reason for cancellation
these charges may be
recoverable on your
insurance policy. If the
operator cancels tour due to
unforeseen circumstance,
refund will be made after
deduction of 10% of the
total cost per person to
cover permit and other
logistic expenses. However
the operator will not be
liable for any additional
costs incurred.
Validity:
Prices quoted are net basis and valid according to the date specified on the printed tariffs, quotation, invoice etc. Putao
Lodge warrants that the prices or rates quoted are correct at the time of issuance but are subject to change in line with market, tax or currency fluctuation.
Confirmation and final payment:
Confirmation on your booking will be provided in writing and advice the due date for final payment on your invoice.
Amendments:
We will try to accommodate your request within possible limit. A fee may liable if involve reapplication with a permit. Please note we may not be able to accommodate your request during "high occupation period". In such case we will not be responsible for any lost or additional costs incur to you. Should trip be cancel after deposit cancellation fee applies.
Grouping:
Putao Lodge programs are based on minimum (4) participants and reserves the right to combine with other travellers in order to form a decent group on same departure. Should there be no participant to join to form a group of minimum (4) participants then "Small Group Supplement" is liable to be able to operate with existing number of clients.
Flights:
Due to weather in mountainous region, irregularities of domestic flight schedule may affect your onward journey. We cannot be responsible for any charges you might incur as a result of these cancellations once you are in Putao. Should the schedule flight cancel on the planned date before depart to Putao then we will try to book next available flight. If this is not acceptable to you then a refund will be considered after deduction of 10% of the total cost per person to cover permit and other logistic expenses.
Un-used service:
No refunds will be considered any unused service after commencement of the tour, trek or expeditions regardless of the reason whatsoever.
Travel Insurance:
It will be compulsory for you to take your own personal travel insurance, which must cover adventure activities and include emergency evacuation as "pre condition" of booking. Full contact details of the insurance policy will need to be carried with the trek, raft or expedition. In addition clients will be asked to sign a “Waiver Form” on certain trek (Client Liability Release Form in case of rafting), which will recognize the client’s voluntary participation in an adventure activity, which carries a certain amount of inherent risk.
