We have spent our first night at the new Putao Trekking House. It is a beautiful comfortable wooden house that I can recommend to all Putao visitors. The next day we have started our 9 days trekking to the last frontier. It was such a beautiful area we have visited. The rivers are so clean. Every day we jumped into the water and took a relaxing swim after the walk. The people in the villages along the trekking are very friendly. We spent so many times at the bonfire in the evening. Our friendly staff cooked delicious Myanmar food every day. Our local guide told us so many interesting things about the nature and the culture in this remote area. We have learned so many things about animals and plants. I will always keep those unforgettable impressions of our trekking in my heart and hope to come back one day.

message: Dear Moe, We have been back to Germany for 2 weeks now. It is really winter here: there are minus degrees, there is snow even in the streets and the lakes are frozen. What a difference to Myanmar. One of the highlights of our trip was our visit to Putao, the trekking house was just perfect, the meals in the restaurant extraordinary and the trekking tour fantastic. We will remember everything. We want to thank you once again for your care and regard you showed to us. Salai and you were not only excellent guides but also very nice friends! We will recommend both of you warmly to everybody who wants to go to Myanmar ! We send you some of the photos taken in Putao. All the best for you ! Gisela and Ruprecht
