Birding Paradise in Putao Valley
Situates about 55 kilometers west of Putao with an altitude at 3440 ft 1040 meters, Ziyadum is one of the last frontier village in Myanmar. This area specially support a great variety of birdlife due to its nature of combination of vegetation types from dense tropical lowland jungle, through subtropical hill forest and temperate rainforest to high altitude alpine meadows allows birder with a great opportunity to view residential endemic birds plus some of the migratory as well as endangered birds such as White-bellied Herons which are rarely to be seen elsewhere.
