A Journey through natural beauty and cultural diversity!

A Journey Through Adunglong Valley - Located in the extreme North of Myanmar, the Hkakaborazi protected area covers 3812 square kilometers and the headwaters of the great Ayeyarwady river, Myanmar's main artery for commerce and navigation. Accessibility is difficult, streams have to be crossed on precarious rattan bridges slung across the gorges sometimes hundreds of feet above the rushing torrents and rocky streambeds. The ethnic minorities inhabit in this area are of Doolin Jimphaw, White color Rawan, Myanmar’s gypsy Lisu, hunting community of Htalu and Tibetan who lives in the far north in the Himalayas and the last remaining members of the Tarong, an endangered race of diminutive people none of whom are more than 4 feet in height.
